# Campaigns

> Promotions over WhatsApp only to those who consented, with an honest cost preview and protection for your number.

A campaign is a **template approved by Meta** + a **segment** of customers + variables + a schedule and a sending pace.

## Templates

Marketing or utility, with their Meta status shown as is (draft, under review, approved, rejected with the reason). Your trade comes with six out of the box. Meta's rules are explained right on the screen: no promises the template doesn't keep, the right category, variables with an example.

## New campaign, in six steps

1. Pick the template.
2. Pick the segment.
3. Fill in the variables (name, promotion, date).
4. Schedule the time and the pace.
5. **Honest preview**: how many are eligible, **why each one is excluded** (no consent, opted out, in a rest period, invalid number) and the **cost in pesos** according to Meta's rate.
6. You confirm the cost. It's a two-step process enforced by code: the engine doesn't schedule anything until your "I understand the cost" arrives.

## Protecting your number

Atenta looks after the reputation of your WhatsApp number as if it were its own:

- **Quota** per campaign and per month, according to your plan.
- **Quiet hours** from 21:00 to 09:00: nobody gets promotions at night.
- **Rest period** of 7 days between campaigns to the same customer.
- **Automatic brake** if failures or opt-outs go up.
- **Quality**: if Meta lowers your number's quality rating, the campaign pauses and alerts you.

## Opt-outs

Any customer who replies "BAJA" (or something similar) is taken out of all campaigns by code, instantly, and gets a confirmation. The opt-out list is in Campaigns → Opt-outs.

## Live results

Sent, delivered, read, replied, failed, opt-outs; pause, resume or cancel at any time.

## In test businesses

Sending is **simulated** and the app says so in a banner: nothing goes out to anyone until you switch your Atenta on for the public.
